The all-new Ford Escape offers a 4-engine lineup for you to choose from, opposed to the Nissan Rogue Sport’s standard 2.0L DOHC engine. The Ford Edge comes standard with the 1.5L EcoBoost with Auto Start-Stop technology, or drivers can choose the 2.0L EcoBoost Engine in addition to two hybrid options. No matter which Ford engine you choose, you’ll have more capability than that of the Nissan Rogue Sport. Ford Escape’s standard 1.5L EcoBoost engine offers 181 horsepower and 190 lb.-ft of torque over the Nissan Rogue Sport’s 141 horsepower and 147 lb.-ft of torque. The 1.5L EcoBoost allows for towing capabilities of 2,000 pounds, the 2.0L EcoBoost paired with the Class II Trailer Tow Package can haul 3,500 pounds, and both hybrid engines when properly equipped can tow 1,500 pounds.
